About Inger Bru Gregory
Hello and welcome to this site. This photo “Bru on Bru “was taken this past summer on an Island called Bru not far from Stavanger, Norway, where I was born. The island has been transformed into a place of Art, both natural and manmade. Stavanger was the 2008 Cultural Capital of Europe. The link tells more from this incredible place. Enjoy.
This whole concept of a personal website is new to me, feels a bit like a digital mirror, a bit vain. I don’t enjoy being in the “spotlight” nor listing accomplishments. I’ve been taught that self-praise really stinks. This site, initially created as link to the NHAA has been a fun, creative process of thoughtful reflection as well as an opportunity to give thanks for so many experiences. Sorry if if comes across as me,me,me.
Horizons and Fragments, on Bru island, is part of the City of Culture programme. A three-mile walk leads through a sheep-strewn, dry-stone-wall landscape dotted with “installations”

“Each one sees in the other the beauty of God reflected in the soul, and finding this point of similarity they are attracted to one another in love. This love will make them all the stars of one heaven, the fruits of one tree, this love will bring the realization of true accord, the foundation of real unity.”
